Bagan is full of ancient architecture and ruins. Temples, pagodas, monuments, stone scripts, votive tablets, wall paintings, mural paintings, stuccos carvings can be found in many places in Bagan. The main 4 places to visit are Shwezigon, Ananda, Dhammayangyi and Thabbyinnyu Pagodas.

Magwe

Mt Popa is the dwelling of Myanmar Nats which is also a popular place to visit. It is an extinct volcano. Tuyin Taung and Tantkyi Taung lies on each side of the Ayeyarwaddy River. Salay has the most prominent Salay U Ponnya Monastery with wood carvings. Magwe is another interesting city near Bagan.
